- Results - Novice SCT Class A-Main: Taking the win Ian Sarbacker, local 702 RC Raceway racer. Ian was also the TQ with 12/5:06. Ian will be graduating to the Stock SCT Class. 2nd was Colin Lake. Taking 3rd was Jayme Cajudoy another local 702 RC Raceway racer, who is only 4 years old! This youngster we are all afraid of, look out for Jayme RC world!
- Sportsman Stock SCT A-Main: 1st place went to Kent Beal, 2nd Stacey Pike from Pike Motorsports in Kingman AZ, 3rd Travis Brock. Stacey Pike was also the TQ going 14/5:04
- Sportsman Mod SCT A-Main: 1st Randy Locken, 2nd Stacey Pike (Pike Motorsports), 3rd Daniel Fry. TQ was Stacey Pike (Pike Motorsports) again going 15/5:18.
4×4 Mod A-Main: 1st DJ Sandate OFNA also was the TQ 16/5:04, 2nd Jimmy Wright, 3rd Oscar Spratley local 702 RC Raceway racer and Sik RC.
Expert Mod A-Main: 1st Ryan Cavalieri Team Associated, 2nd Jonah Gallant local 702 RC Raceway racer, 3rd Brent Fiege Team Associated. Cavalieri ran away with this one, running 31 laps with a fast lap of 18.56 in the Main Event. Cavalieri was also the TQ with 16/5:06.

**Short Course Championship May 8th, Saturday 8am**
*Track Will Be CLOSED Monday thru Thur, May 3rd to 6th*
* Sign up for Silver State Short Course Championship Race. Sign up still open. Track will open for practice on Friday May 7th from Noon to 7pm. Race day Saturday May 8th, track will open at 8am for practice and racing will start at 10am. Those of you sticking around till Sunday, we will be running our regular Sunday racing at 2pm.
* Due to requests for a Novice SCT class for the kids. We will be adding a Novice SCT class, just write on entry form Novice SCT. (Short Course Trucks Only)
* Guest Race Announcer Erik “Notch” Johnson, race announcer from West Coast RC Raceway, Hod Rod Hobbies, and also Notch is SoCal’s race director will be here calling the play by play action for the Silver State SCT Championship!
* Short Course Championship will start at 10am, track will open on race day for practice at 8am. We will have open practice on Friday from noon till 7pm. Only production SC tires will be allowed. Sportsman Stock SCT class will be following ROAR SCT rules (17.5 brushless is legal). 4×4 Mod SCT class will need to run a production truck, no homemade chassis. * Valentines Girl Race Winner Jaclyn, 2nd Mindi, 3rd Theresa. All 3 girls won a special goodie bag and the winner Jaclyn won a 2 night stay at Harrah’s Hotel. Special thanks to Harrahs, Vincent, and Mindi!

* Local racers represented at the Short Course Championships at Milestone MX Park, Riverside CA. Congratulations to Kennedy for taking home the Gold in the Intermediate SC Class. Kennedy was the TQ in the A-Main only one to go 9 laps in qualifying. Congrats to Gus who qualified 4th in the A-Main Int SC class and Scott who qualified 5th in the A-Main in the Spec SC class. Great to see our local Vegas racers all in the A-Main!
* Great racing action tonight, we had 6 novice class racers! This is the future of RC here. All the kids did a great job driving nice and smooth. Congratulations to all of them! L-R Bryton, Cody, Kade, Ryan, Cole, Kylie. (Full size pic located under Gallery tab)
* MLK holiday cash racing had great racing action! 2wd spec short course, 2wd open short course, and 2wd mod buggy were the classes battling for cash. Winner of the spec short course class taking home $30 for 1st was Schiloh (courtesy of Kyle), 2nd place $10 to Bobby. In the 2wd mod buggy class 1st place Big Shane taking home $20 and 2nd place Brandon $5. 2wd open short course winner once again was Big Shane taking home $25 for first, 2nd place Todd went home with $10. Big Shane was the big winner of the night taking home $45 cash total.
* Winners of each class had a 5 min battle for a free month membership for 702 RC Raceway. Battle was between Big Shane, Brandon, and Schiloh. It was a close race, lots of rubbing/racing with the turn marshal’s, yes turn marshal’s, Gus even had his catchers mitt out for this one, it was hilarious! But only one could prevail, it was Schiloh winning the 1 month membership!!! Congratulations Schiloh!
* Xtreme Metal Works/Performance Motorsports Short Course Team Race Was A Hit! Lots of great racing action tonight. Team Dialed/Associated won by just 3 laps over Team Privateers. Congratulations to all participants: Team Performance Motorsports, Team Dirty Good Skittles, Team Collins Motorsports, Team Ding A Ling, Team Dialed Inc/Associated, & Team Privateer. Results are on www.LiveRC.com
Taking home the trophies were: 1st Place - Team Dialed Inc./Associated AE, 2nd Place - Team Privateers, 3rd Place - Team Ding A Ling. Winning bragging rights in the losers bracket was Team Dirty Good Skittles (Father-Son Team).
