Track News Update: What to expect when we finally re-open

Whats up #702Fam!

First of all, thank you to everyone who have supported us through these difficult times by making donations, purchasing t-shirts, text, calls, & emails of encouragement.  You all are the BEST!

As we continue to closely monitor information from our Governor and local leaders, we currently have no idea exactly when we will be allowed to re-open.  Our hope is that things continue to move in the right direction concerning the pandemic. Some states have announced phasing in re-opening efforts, and it appears that Nevada is working on the same; however, no date has been set.  Nevertheless, we have put together a plan for re-opening and we believe will be the best way to get things back up and running while keeping everyone safe.  The tentative schedule will consist as follows:

  • Super Saturday On-road series had two races left, so we moved those 2 races to May.

  • Sin City Off-Road series, May 3, 17, 24 and 31, June 7, 14 and 28

  • May 23 is our 4th annual Las Vegas Gran Prix – Spring Edition Race sponsored by Gravity RC.

  • With agreement from the sponsor, TamiyaUSA, the Tamiya Champion Race (TCS),originally scheduled for April 25-26, has been moved to June 20-21

  • July 22-23 will be the 5th annual High Rollers On-Road Race sponsored by Wallace Motorsports, TDK Repair.

  • July 31, Aug 1-2, we’re finally able to run our JConcepts NCTS2 race, after it was originally supposed to run in March

  • Las Vegas Gran Prix – Winter Edition going down Oct 17, again always sponsored by Gravity RC.

  • The King of Carpet Off-Road race sponsored by Proline and Whitz Racing Products has been scheduled for November.

  • In addition, we will have the Vegas Summer Nights (off-road/on-road) Series starting in June and ending in September.

  • Lastly, we are excited to debut a new website in the coming weeks that will include our online store and will be the digital focal point for all our information. We are always looking for support from sponsors, so if you know of anyone that would like to support our track and community, please let us know.

Please note: we will continue to adhere to the social distancing guidelines upon re-opening to do our part to help keep everyone safe.

Again, all this is based on the current expectations, if the situation changes, we will have to change accordingly.
