Cancelling Order FAQ
How do I cancel my order?
Since our ultimate goal is to ship out customers’ orders as quickly as possible, there is only a small window of time when your order can be canceled. To view your orders that can be canceled, just log into your account and click this link:

Or log into your account and click on the My Account tab, and under the section titled My Orders click on View the orders I may cancel and any orders that you may cancel will appear. Simply choose to view the order you wish to cancel and then you may click the Cancel Order button on the bottom right. Clicking the Cancel Order button will immediately cancel that order, place the products ordered back into your shopping cart, and issue you a full refund.
Any payment for your order will be refunded to your original payment method. If you paid with a credit card, your credit card will be issued a refund (or the transaction will be voided if you cancel your order the same day it was placed). If you pay through Paypal, your Paypal account will be refunded. If you paid with a store credit, your store credit account will be refunded. If you paid with a combination of a store credit and another payment method, the store credit and the other payment method will be refunded the amount that was used for each.
Important: Please keep in mind that if you cancel an order you have paid for with a credit card, the funds may have a hold on them for 1-3 days by your bank or credit card issuer. Please understand that these holds are completely out of our control. So, if you place a large order that will be close to your credit card limit and then cancel it, you may not be able to place a new order until those funds have been released by your bank or credit card issuer. We recommend in these instances that you contact your bank or credit card issuer to request they ‘release’ the hold that was placed on those funds so that you can use your card again without delay.
How do I make changes to my order?
The easiest way to make changes to your order is to cancel it online (see instructions above) and place a new order. Please do not send us a request through email for your order to be canceled, as it can take anywhere from 24-48 hours before emails are responded to and your order will most likely will have already been processed.
Gift Card FAQ
Purchasing Gift Cards
Gift Cards are purchased and processed using www.localgiftcards.com. Gift Cards can still be found on the AMainHobbies.com and AMainCycling.com home pages under "Buy Gift Cards," or by visiting https://amainhobbies.localgiftcards.com or https://amaincycling.localgiftcards.com respectively. Simply select the gift card in the amount you'd like and complete the checkout process utilizing the www.localgiftcards.com system. During checkout, payment will be made using PayPal (PayPal account not required) and can be completed using any major credit card, as well as with your PayPal balance. Once purchased and received, the value of the Gift Card can be used at any physical AMain Sports & Hobbies' retail locations, or it can be added to your online AMainHobbies.com or AMainCycling.com account as store credit.
Gift Card Types:
- Physical Gift Cards - Shipped to Recipients: Physical gift cards are plastic cards that are shipped to the recipients; usually shipped out in 24-48 hours. Each gift card will be activated for the amount requested and mailed to the recipient in a professionally designed card presenter, mailed by the carrier selected at checkout. Purchases received after 12pm Pacific time on Friday will be processed the following Monday.
When can I expect to receive the gift card?:
- Physical Gift Cards: Physical gift cards are usually shipped in 24-48 hours via USPS 1st Class Mail within the United States, and should arrive within 5-6 business days. However, you can select the shipping option of your choice at checkout (purchases received after 12pm Pacific time on Friday will be processed the following Monday).
How can I check the balance of my gift card?:
You can check your Gift Card balance by calling 1-888-303-1175 for information 24 hours a day. You can also check your AMainHobbies.com balance here or your AMainCycling.com balance here.
Will I be able to use my physical gift card if the magnetic stripe is damaged?:
You can use a gift card with a damaged magnetic strip as long as the numbers on the card are legible and the card's balance can be verified. Transactions can be processed manually by keying in the number on the card.
Can I reload my gift card?:
Yes. Adding value to a gift card is easy with a card recharge. To recharge your AMainHobbies.com card click here. To recharge your AMainCycling card click here. You will be prompted for the gift card number when adding the recharge item to your cart.
Where can I use my Gift Card?
Gift Cards are valid for redemption at any AMain Sports & Hobbies' retail location, or online at AMainHobbies.com and AMainCycling.com.
How do I Redeem a Gift Card?
If you receive a Gift Card by mail it will contain a redeemable 16 digit code. Please make note of this code for your records.
- Option 1: Once logged into your account (account required), you can redeem your Gift Card here. (If you do not have an online account you can create one here.)
- Option 2: During the checkout process, on the same page that you select a payment method, there will be a box to enter your 16 digit Gift Card code. Enter the code here, and click the redeem button. The code will be validated and added as store credit. An extra box will then appear on the right hand side listing the amount of the credit. Checking this box will apply the store credit to your order.
- At a physical retail location:
- Bring your Gift Card (physical or digital) to any AMain Sports & Hobbies' retail store where your 16 digit Gift Card code can be redeemed by the cashier for store credit towards your purchase.
NOTE - Credit Balance: When using Gift Cards in-store, any remaining store credit balance remains on your card. You can use this remaining balance towards future in-store purchases, or you can redeem the remaining balance online for purchases at AMainHobbies.com or AMainCycling.com. Once Gift Cards have been redeemed online and added to your account, store credit becomes invalid in-store and is not reversible.
Using Your Store Credit Online
If you have store credit available in your account, you can use those funds to make purchases. During checkout on the "Payment Information" page, a "Credits Available" box will present any available credits; you have the option to use or not use your credits by checking the box.
Please note: You will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough credit in your account to cover the cost of your purchase. If you have more credit than the total cost of your purchase the balance will be left as store credit for future purchases.
Can I redeem my AMainHobbies.com gift card at AMainCycling.com?:
Yes. It does not matter which online store you shop from. Any AMain Sports & Hobbies gift card type can be redeemed at either website, or physical retail location.
Can I use my AMainHobbies.com store credit at AMainCycling.com?:
Yes. It does not matter which online store you shop from. Once logged in, any available store credit will be presented at check out.
How do I know if my online account has store credit?
Once logged in, your store credit amount shows when you hover your cursor over "My Account" located at the top right of the page. Store credit will also be presented during the "Payment Information" page of the checkout process under "Credits Available," where you have the option to use or not use your credits towards your purchase.

Pre-Order & Back-Order FAQ
What is a pre-order?
A “pre-order” is a newly announced product that has not been made commercially available yet. When a customer places a “pre-order,” they are reserving the item for when it becomes in stock and shippable at a later date; when available, an ETA (estimated time of arrival) date will display near the Pre Order icon on the product page. All pre-orders must be pre-paid in full to reserve the product.
Pre-orders are saved in a "first come, first served" fashion within the VIP status hierarchy of the AMain Sports & Hobbies VIP Rewards Program. The priority attached to the VIP status determines where the VIP members’ reservation will be placed on the Pre-Order list; VIP Platinum members will receive the highest level of priority, followed by Gold, Silver, Basic, and non-members who may still reserve a pre-order item.
AMain Sports & Hobbies always attempts to secure enough products to fulfill 100% of customer pre-orders. All pre-order customers will be notified via email when the product is being shipped to your address.

IMPORTANT NOTE: An order containing in-stock items and pre-ordered items will not ship until ALL ITEMS of that order are in stock and available. To receive your in-stock items sooner, consider removing the pre-ordered item from your cart and placing a separate order for it.

Rewards Points FAQ
All AMain Sports & Hobbies VIP members who purchase products with AMain Sports & Hobbies are eligible to receive rewards points on their purchases, except AMain Sports & Hobbies employees and other AMain Sports & Hobbies team members.
As an AMain Sports & Hobbies VIP member, you can earn a minimum of 1 point for nearly every $1 you spend on qualifying purchases (see "Non-Qualifying Items" below). Points will vest and be available for redemption in your account approximately 30 days from the purchase date on your order. Point calculations are based upon dollars spent at checkout on qualifying purchases (see "Non-Qualifying Items" below) and VIP Status. When products are returned to the store or by mail, points will be deducted for those items returned. Rewards Points are non-transferable. Other restrictions or exclusions may apply.
For every 250 points earned in the AMain Sports & Hobbies VIP Rewards Program, you will be eligible to receive a $5 store credit towards future purchases of any qualifying products. Once you have more than 250 Points that are 'vested', they will be available for redemption as a store credit approximately 30 days after the initial purchase date. Rewards points are accessed through your AMain Sports & Hobbies account and must be manually redeemed before use. Points may be used for future purchases and may only be used for a discount off purchase amounts equal to, or greater than, the total Store Credit being applied to the order (excluding sales tax). Rewards Points store credit may be used in conjunction with most other discounts or offers toward the purchase of products, not to exceed purchase amount.
IMPORTANT: Each redeemed Rewards Points store credit amount will expire if not redeemed within 90 days from the date it is issued. Rewards Points credits used to purchase products are non-refundable for product returns. Other restrictions or exclusions may apply.
- VIP Basic earns 1 point per $1 spent.
- VIP Silver earns 1.25 points per $1 spent.
- VIP Gold earns 1.5 points per $1 spent.
- VIP Platinum earns 2 points per $1 spent.
VIP Member Rewards Points will not be earned for the following: Gift Voucher purchases, instant discounts, discount coupons, sales tax, state fees, shipping charges, delivery charges, restocking fees, commercial purchases, other excluded charges, and certain items that are excluded in particular promotions. Other exclusions may apply.
VIP Member Rewards Store Credits may not be used for discounts off the following: prior purchases, purchase of Gift Vouchers, purchases made for resale, sales tax, state fees, shipping charges, delivery charges, restocking fees, commercial purchases. Other exclusions may apply.
VIP reward points will expire after 180 days for VIP Basic and Silver members, and 365 days for VIP Gold and Platinum members, from the date of purchase.
Reward Points store credit will expire if not used within 90 days of redemption.
AMain Sports & Hobbies reserves the right to make changes to the rewards points program at any time.
